Mokrice is managed by Terme Catez, the nearby spa complex. The castle has been renovated into a four star hotel, with 29 rooms, a restaurant with seating for 150 guests, two conference halls, one of which , the Knights Hall, is also used for weddings.
There is an 18 hole golf course in the immediate vicinity of the castle. For those who wish to sample nature more directly, there is the English Park. It is over 200 years old, stretches across some 150 acres and is home to around 6o species of trees.
