First new Individual Member: Black Water Links

After updating our GCAE membership model at the last Members Meeting this year, we are thrilled to welcome our first new Individual Member: Black Water Links near Poznań in Poland. Happy to have you, and what a course to lead the way!

Black Water Links is a modern and eco-friendly Polish resort with holiday cottages on the course, an 18-hole Caspar Grauballe design and the country’s largest practice area with 40 illuminated bays, TrackMan Range technology, a 6-hole academy and short-game areas built for fun and learning for their kids academy. They are well known for events, host championships and offer a tent structure ideal for large gatherings. All under the leadership of Maksymilian Wentland, part of the family owning Black Water Links

Black Water operates pesticide free and irrigates with 100% grey water. As passionate Head Greenkeeper Kris (Krzysztof) Misiaczyński puts it:

“With the October conference at Black Water Links we want to show the industry that you can run high-end sports venues without pesticides and still keep high quality.”

They also deploy a 34-unit Husqvarna autonomous fleet, cutting quietly in rhythm across the course for more consistent surfaces, less disruption for players and a lighter footprint.

Welcome, Black Water Links. Smart course, brave choices, clear signal of where golf is moving — and exactly the kind of member who makes this new GCAE model sing.
