The European Commission has issued another round of consultation on the: ‘Review of existing VAT legislation on public bodies and tax exemptions in the public interest’ The consultation particularily focuses on the very well recognized “distortion of competition” that exists in many member states under the current VAT legislation. In the current consultation the EC porposes 5 models for reform and they ask us to react to these models. The EC has set a list of questions and asks us to answer the ones that are of our concern. In response to these questions, the European Golf Course Owners Association, Along with the UKGCOA and BVGA have submitted a response. Below you can download the response from the EGCOA.
