We are looking for an intern to join our Communications and Events Team for 2017. The ideal candidate will be:

You must be able to multi-task and to keep to tight deadlines whilst working in a small team, with a lot of responsibility.
About the role:
It will be your responsibility to assist in the Conference Manger with the details involved in the preparation of the European conference, including planning, attracting speakers and delegates, event communications and liaising with sponsors and our national chapters.
You will also work closely with the Communication Manger in producing everything from press releases to news articles. You will also be responsible for research into the Future of Golf to help in the growing of our Vision 2020 program and the growing out of both the association membership and sponsors.
This is a great opportunity for a student who plans a career within Sports Marketing & Communications. Previous experience of Communications and event organisation is an advantage.
You do not need to play golf. However, an affinity with sports is an advantage. Fluent English language skills are essential. Native English speaking students are very welcome and other European languages are a plus.
About the European Golf Course Owners Association:
The European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA) is a trade association, which provides a range of services to support golf course owners, and which represents their interests and seeks to improve the golf business on a European level. The EGCOA supports owners through the dissemination and sharing of knowledge, and through the creation of a range of programs for growth of the game, and through cooperation with other EU stakeholders. The EGCOA represents more than 950 members in 20 European countries. In 13 of these countries, the National Associations are also members of the EGCOA.
Location: Amsterdam
Compensation: 250 Euros per month
Duration: 5 months
Starting date: Immediately
