Since its founding in 2003, the Golf Course Association of Europe (GCAE) has brought together the people who shape the golf experience — owners, operators and managers of golf facilities across Europe. Our purpose is rooted in a simple truth: without financially healthy golf courses, there is no golf. We lead to raise the standard of golf as an experience and an industry.
By representing the interests of owners & operators on a continental level, GCAE helps ensure that the sport continues to grow, adapt and thrive.
National associations do important work within their countries—but challenges like climate change, economic pressure and shifting golfer behavior do not stop at borders. That is why we act as a European platform for collaboration, knowledge-sharing and advocacy. We believe that golf is good for both people and the planet and that course owners should have a seat at the table when decisions are made about the future of the game.
