The first VISION 2020 Developmental Workshops was hosted this week with the Finnish Golf Course Owners Association (SKGY). The workshop hosted in Helsinki was attended by 10 proactive golf course owners and managers from Finland and Estonia.
Under the guidance of VISION 2020 Project Manager Sander Allegro, the group discussed developing global trends and there impact on the Finnish and European golf industry. After this in-depth discussion a number of key trends emerged from the pack as the most influential. With these trends in hand a number of creative strategies and plans to implement these trends into golf facilities were developed.
