The German Golf Course Owners Association (BVGA) is the trade association representing the owners and operators of golf facilities in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
The BVGA was founded was founded in December of 1998 and emerged from the former “Golf Course Business Circle”, which existed since June 1996. The BVGA has established itself as a key player and successful network for “Golf & Business” in the golf market, services sector of the leisure industry.

In over 15 years, the Federal Association of golf courses could unite from the Gulf economy and Golf Industry 175 recognized golf course operators (members) from 4 nations and numerous partners.

5th Golf Business Conference hosted by the BVGA
The Golf Course Owners Association (Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Czech Republic) is host of the 5th Golf Business Conference taking place from the 1st until the 3rd of April at the Golf Resort Achental at the beautiful Lake Chiemsee close to Munich, Germany. This years golf business conference aims the focus amongst others primarily on the new generation of golf course operators and why they still invest their money in their company , how to implement commercial purpose, for a return on investment, and presenting the Solheim Cup 2014 as a new marking tool to gain new female golfers.
We will determine the key operating issues, and come up with a plan and prescribe the changes that need to be implemented.
